Refund policy
Amazon.com Returns Policy (Buy with Prime orders)
Items shipped from Amazon.com, including Amazon Warehouse, can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
You can return Buy with Prime orders by following these steps:
Step 1 - Open the order confirmation email and choose View Order.
Step 2 - Choose Order Details to see the order details page.
Step 3 - Choose Return on the order details page.
Note: The Return button appears only after the order is delivered.
Step 4 - Enter any additional information about the return, such as the reason for the return.
Step 5 - Confirm the estimated refund amount and summary of the return details to create the return.
When the return has been created, a return confirmation email is sent.
Step 6 - From the return confirmation email, choose Print Return Label, and then attach the printed label to the package.
Step 7 - Drop the return off at the location listed on the return label.
Amazon.com exceptions to the 30-day return policy:
- For information about products that can't be returned, see Items that Can't be Returned.
- To determine if a product sold by Amazon.com has a longer return timeline, locate the product type below. If the product type isn't listed or doesn't state another returns time frame, our standard 30-day return policy applies.
- While most sellers offer a returns policy equivalent to Amazon's, some seller returns policies may vary. If the seller's listing is eligible for Amazon Prime, it will be subject to the same return policies as items fulfilled by Amazon.com that are outlined on this page. - For products purchased from the Amazon Global Store, see Amazon Global Store Returns.

- If you have returned an item to Amazon by mistake or included something not intended for Amazon in a return, see Mistaken Returns.
- If you have already received a refund and are expected to return the item, you can create a return request. For more information about how to create a returns request see Return Items You Ordered. You will be charged if an item that is expected to be returned is not sent back to us.
- If the item has already been sent back to us and you have received an email asking you return it or have been charged for item, we will reverse the charge as soon as the return is processed by us. It might take additional time for your financial institution to make funds available in your account.
- To prevent and detect fraud and abuse, in some circumstances Amazon may require additional information and documentation from you, such as a government-issued photo identification, to consider processing a return or providing a refund or replacement. All personal information you provide will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Notice, which is linked at the bottom of this page.
Merely Home Orders that did NOT Buy with Prime
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at hello@merelyhome.com. Under e-mail subject, write "SHOPIFY RETURN REQUEST." Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: P.O. Box 841 O'Fallon, IL 62269
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 29 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 29 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
